The 2025 Larry Gilpin Award Recipient
 
Normally presented at the season ending luncheon, the Larry Gilpin award is bestowed upon the member, course employee or board officer that has contributed the most to the league over the season. 
 
Due to unforeseen circumstances (a board meeting wasn't held prior to the season-ending luncheon to discuss it), the Larry Gilpin award was not included in the EOS program. We are somewhat flustered, yet proud to announce that the 2025 season recipient is Jim “Doc” Hunter. Not only has Doc stayed near the top of the season’s attendance list, but he has made himself available to help manage the distribution of scorecards and the $2 contributions almost every week of play. He arrives early, and constantly stays late after his round, collecting scorecards along with course gossip. In addition, more than one member has felt the impact of his generous spirit.
 
Expect to see Doc’s name on the award as you roam around the clubhouse next season.
