THE CLUB'S MEMBER BENEFITS

Reduced green fees for league play

Golf with old and new friends in mixed company for $30, over one-third off of the normal $47 course rate.

 

Events & Tournaments, following this typical weekly schedule:

  • Week 1: casual stroke play, i.e., a normal golf round where we post scores for handicap establishment.
  • Week 2: a two-person team tournament, featuring cash prizes, and, for a nominal fee, lunch in the clubhouse following the round.
  • Week 3: (and Week 5, as the calendar dictates): casual stroke play. 
  • Week 4: fun event, with various formats such as a 4-person team shamble, 4- or 5-club limit, Bingo Bango Bongo, a modified Stableford contest or some other fun, maybe crazy game (format changes each month).

 

End-of-Season Luncheon

This event wraps up the season in spectacular manner. We'll provide lunch free to members while using the occasion to recognize individuals who have achieved milestones such as most improved golfer, and highest attendance. There'll be prizes and giveaways, and the big reveal of the season: the Larry Gilpin Award winner -- the member or course employee who has contributed the most to the Club during the season.

 

Official USGA Handicapping
Keep track of your game improvement with official USGA handicaps, based on scores we post for you after each round of normal stroke play. Download the free USGA GHIN app so you can post your scores wherever and whenever you play a round.

 

Guest Accommodations

  • Guests play for the member rate, plus a $12 cart fee, should they choose to ride. 
  • A member may bring one guest at a time to sanctioned guest days, held monthly on casual round dates. Check the event calendar for official guest days.
  • Guests may also play on other casual round days with prior notice and approval.
  • Guests will be allowed, within reason, to play multiple dates.

OGA Members are periodically invited to shop the big three employee stores in the Portland Metro area: adidas, Columbia and Nike. Invitation periods are normally about one month in length and are offered one, two and sometimes three times a calendar year.

The Oregon Golf Association hosts more than 100 events each year in the form of multiple-day championship competitions and single-day casual events. We cover the gamut when it comes to event formats for you and your friends to enjoy.
