July 2026 Photos
July 7th Photo(s) of the week:
While circling the pond to the right via the cart path, heading out to find my tee shot, I glanced into the trees and noticed a spherical white object. A closer examination proved my obvious hunch – someone had managed to wedge their drive into a stand of trees, halfway up the trunk. I rescued the ball, well, because I couldn’t just leave it hanging there, could I? Will the owner please claim their golf ball?
Don’t feel alone. Turns out my own tee shot had wedged itself 8 inches off the ground in a bush 40 yards up the fairway, in the new red-staked area. Unplayable lie. Had to take a drop and a one-stroke penalty. Story of my round.

June 30th Photo(s) of the Week:
The latest trends? Seems to be group selfies and that iconic view from the men’s tees at #15. So here we present an impromptu board meeting: Ginger Kuhlmann and Fred Less, Directors-at-large, Gordie Hayes, Treasurer, and JT Gregory, Secretary, Communications Director and now Webmaster.

This next pic shows how Central Oregon is faring this summer. Due to low snow levels in the winter, and warmer days since, there’s not much snow visible on the mountain.

And just to show you everyone was having fun, here’s our featured group, all smiles. It might’ve helped that two of the ladies took home prizes for their putting prowess.
Welcome back, Chuck!

June 16th Photo of the Week:
No photos were submitted this week. Not a one. Maybe the heat got to the camera buttons on our phones?

June 9th Photos of the Week: Member Don James, who was unable to play this week due to minor hand surgery, was kind enough to play club photographer for the day. Here is a feast of team photos taken from around the course. Thanks, Don, and take care of that hand!

June 2nd Photos of the Week: It’s about time for our first peek/peak this season at the iconic view from the #15 men’s tees, don’t you think? Still snow on the mountains, no haze or smoke spoiling the view. And to coax that agreeable hit of serenity into lingering, we’ll add a closer view of the pond, with a pair of mallards savoring some alone time on the water. No really, look just behind the flowers near the pond’s center in photo #2.

Oh. You wanted photos of members in action? Okay, check out Sara Sather, showing off her tee form. Look how straight she's keepin' that left elbow!
